changed selection mode

The selection mode is changed to one that is also commonly used in file systems of popular operating systems. That means, it is single selection, but when Shift/Ctrl/Command (depending on the operating system) are pressed, multiple options can be selected at once. This takes care of the annoying deselection/reselection problem that came with the selection mode used before.
